All team members will be wearing the required PPE, including the proper masks to prevent possible transmission of the COVID-19 virus.

 

When entering the office, we request that you wear your mask until you enter the treatment room. We have a short questionnaire to see that you are healthy for dental treatment, and we will be taking your temperature with a non-contact thermometer. We are limiting the number of people in the waiting room to allow for proper social distancing. 

 

In addition, in the clinical rooms, we will be wearing higher quality masks and disposable gowns and face shields. We use high speed oral evacuation systems which reduces aerosols by 94%. As always, the rooms will be disinfected between patients with disinfectants as recommended by the CDC that kills Coronavirus. At the end of the day, our office uses air purifiers and our air conditioning system has been serviced to filter harmful bacteria and viruses. At the end of the day, additional time is spent with disinfectant wipes and aerosols to reduce possibility of transmission of disease.

 

All of these procedures take extra time, so please understand if the appointments are a bit longer. As always, we will remain available to you for your needs, especially emergencies, and we are only a phone call away should you need assistance.  Please continue being safe and stay healthy.
